National Museum of the American Coverlet
Located 2 miles from the Omni Bedford Springs Resort The National Museum of the American Coverlet is the first independent, year-round institution devoted to historic American woven coverlets.
Indulge in natural treatments at the Bedford Springs spa resort. A discount of 10% will apply to spa appointments when 10 or more MACUMA attendees book appointments. If 20 or more MACUMA attendees book appointments, there will be a 15% discount.
Golf at Omni Bedford Springs Resort
The Omni Bedford Springs Resort is proud to be home to one of the country’s first golf courses. Dating back to 1895, our restored, historic course offers an experience of the highest caliber to rival the most private clubs. Overlooking breathtaking views of the Allegheny Mountains and Cumberland Valley, this remarkable course spans the work of three golf architectural masters—Spencer Oldham, A.W. Tillinghast, and Donald Ross. You can see the rates here.
Located on the front lawn of the resort off of the Frontier Tavern, a welcoming fire pit lit nightly invites you for cocktails and conversation. Enjoy an evening under the stars warming by the fire and roasting a fresh s’more with your friends and family.
There is no better way to enjoy the outdoors than with horseback riding. Available on Saturday and Sunday.
- Mountain Trail Ride | $99
90-minute ride through mountain terrain with scenic vistas. This ride requires significant rider input, and experience is preferred. Children between the ages of 8 to 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. - Private Carriage Rides | $450
45-minute ride and can have up to six people.
Hiking
Explore the beautiful property that is home to Bedford Springs by hiking on one of the trails. Whether you are looking for a leisurely walk or a challenging fitness hike, the choice is yours. Don’t forget to take a map and water bottle when you are hiking. View the hiking trail map.
Archery
This program is for beginners, designed as a basic intro to archery using a recurve bow. Activity takes place on the front lawn of the Omni Bedford Springs. Our basic program is a 1-hour session shooting targets at 10–20 yard distances. Ages 8 years and older. $45 per person, book here.
Located right behind the resort, a full-size tennis court awaits you and your friends. Enjoy a one-on-one game or a friendly competition. Tennis equipment rentals are also available.
Historic Hotel Tour
Enjoy a historic tour of the Omni Bedford Springs Resort, and learn more about the history of the healing powers in the Eternal Springs. Listen as we relate true stories of visits to the resort by 11 of our U.S. presidents.
